The original Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage (Filmed by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin). It was filmed in 1967 at Buff Creek in Orleans, California. This video has been under controversial debate since 1967. Still to this day, this could be the greatest piece of Bigfoot existence evidence ever found. Many people believe it’s real, while others say its one of the best hoax’s of all time. In the 1960′s film and costume design was not too advanced. Many people believe Patterson and Gimlin did not have the resources to fabricate such a hoax. They were said to be two adventurous cowboys not smart enough to pull off this stunt. Roger Patterson died in 1972. Robert Gimlin is alive and to this day he insists the footage is 100% real.
The above video is an extensive analysis created by film annalist Bill Munns and National Geographic . Bill compares Patterson-Gimlin’s Bigfoot footage to a real human. After his studies he came to the conclusion that the proportions of the Bigfoot line up more to an ape than a human. He also came to the conclusion the Bigfoot in the video could have been over 7ft tall. Without body evidence, the footage evidence is still considered inconclusive.
